The Follow-Up Inspection Program is available to SDMC clients whose vessels have previously been subject to a full SDMC inspection. It’s designed as a review of actions, repairs, upgrades and refits undertaken as a result of the inspection.
The service includes a minimum full day aboard with you or your crew, reviewing the vessel’s systems, with an emphasis on the upgrades and repairs that were made since the vessel was initially inspected. During this time SDMC will share observations, recommendations and suggestions regarding these corrections, as well as for maintaining the vessel’s overall seaworthiness, reliability and safety. The service includes the preparation of a photo-documented report, and a sea trial can also be carried out if desired.
